a mirror needs a home; like Dorothy needed her home,
Dorothy, "Oh, but anyway Toto, we're home, and this is my room, and you're all here, and I'm not going to leave here ever, ever again. Because I love you all, and, oh Auntie Em, there's no place like home." The Wizard of Oz screenplay, 1939

I got super excited when I read about this competition via Mint. I have been toying with the idea of creating a collage of vintage mirrors in my home. This stunning retro mirror would take proud centre stage...and give me the push to start this feature wall.

Just a 'wall flower' waiting to be picked.....

This mirror is definitely a piece of art that would be a focus area of a room! I love that it is different and funky yet elegant at the same time. I got married recently and moved into my own place...what a lovely addition to my home it would be. How awesome it would be have a mirror as special, unique and fragile as a new marriage, reminding us that we need to be gentle and soft with each other but at the same time honest in every way. It is something that we would definitely keep through our marriage and share with our kids. Please give me the pleasure of having this art piece in my home.

Don't act just give it to me! It must be mine......mwahahahahahaha!

Just a quick note to thank you soo much for selecting me! I have had a day from hell, starting with checking my mail and realising money had been drawn out of my account in Inanda! Turns out I am a victim of debit card fraud! When I received your phone call I was racing between the bank, the police station, back to the bank and back to the police station again. Was at the point of crying from frustration when your lovely voice informed me that I had won the mirror :) :) Thank you, thank you, thank you for turning an extremely bad day into a great day!
