This reminded me of a local art group I´m sure you heard about, it´s called "Grupo Mondongo" their art is made with food like bubble gum or cookies, I´m not really sure but I think you would love them, their site is under construction: http://www.mondongo.tv/
I can´t seem to find info in english about them right now. But I think you will find their art interesting.
